This one was my mom's long time dream, she used very thin thread and she got this design from my grandmother ,who was an expert in crocheting. my grandmother used to finish blankets within 2 to 3 days time and all her designs would be birds, animals,,,.. which needs lot of calculations in each and every step.

Wavy shell crochet blanket

Hi my next post is on crochet. Though my mom taught me knitting, i was having less interest towards knitting, she wanted to try my hands on crochet. then i started learning crochet from her and from youtube. I did couple of ponchos and baby booties. After giving a long break i did this blanket.

Sri Ganesha

Hi this is my first post . I learnt this from my mother. I got inspiration on crafting from my mother, she used to decorate our home with all her works. This is my long time dream to make a Ganesha out of Aluminum sheet. This sheet i got it from india. I hope we get this kind of sheets in home depot .

I used wooden tools to engrave, screwdriver tip also serves the same purpose.

First I copied the design to the sheet , then i engraved on that and trimmed the unwanted edges carefully. Then i decorated ornament part and eyes with bindis.
